Any chiefs that are trying to put together a K9 program but have funding issues
put them in touch with me and I will talk them through the easiest grant I have
seen. It is through the NACOP. We verified the validity of it and were able to
easily raise a total of almost $12,000 (we only have 1400 residents). It is a
100% match up to $5,000. It is only applicable to K9 programs.

The Electronic Proving Grounds of the US Army has a grant
program to transfer equipment to police agencies for use in
counter drug work or terrorism protection (or at least that's
how the grant needs to be worded). Over the last few years I was able to
obtain a thermal imager and night vision goggles, and associated
training at 0 cost to the PD.
Agencies can get thermal & night vision, video systems, wires
and much more. It is a bit of a
tedious process, but well worth it if you are selected.
